Da Vinci has a unique learning experience called “Learning Intensives”.  Learning Intensives are a 3 week mini course centered around one topic or theme.  Learning Intensives are a part of our regular school calendar and are required for all students.  Topics are discussed throughout the beginning of the second semester and early spring and students choose the topic they are interested in.  Students then start meeting with their Learning Intensives class once a week until the end of the second semester.  And then the Learning Intensives meet daily – one class – one group of students – for the whole three weeks.  Some classes meet at the school, some meet in the community, somewhere in the state, or somewhere across the nation!
